16 Channel Semi-Fiscal Distribution Board Smart Meter

Distribution board smart meter that measures up to 16 channels and is designed to work with our Clamp On Current Sensors.
  • Granular display of your electricity usage.
  • Accurate voltage reference.
  • Single phase or three phase (software configurable)
  • Available for self-install or with fully comprehensive installation service

Order Codes: BBSP-SM16D
DATASHEET
The Enistic 16 channel semi-fiscal meter is designed for sub-metering and installation within a distribution cabinet (fuse box):
  • Breakdown electricity usage: Air Con, Lighting, Office IT, Server Room, etc
  • Contains an accurate voltage reference input for high accuracy (AC2.0)
  • Highlight areas of concern in your energy spend
  • Measure targets for energy saving and monitor progress of your energy saving plans
  • Simple to install - simply clip current sensors around the wires you wish to monitor (although we do recommend that this work is carried out by a qualified electrician) and connect to the channel meter
  • Available as self-install, or with fully comprehensive installation service

Application & Features

This 16 Channel Semi-Fiscal Smart Meter is designed for sub-metering and installation within a distribution cabinet (i.e. a fuse box).
  • Report power consumption to the nearest 2% every 10 seconds (per channel) to Enistic Energy Manager
  • Compatible with our 30A or 100A current sensors to give readings up to 25A or 100A
  • Reports power use, voltage (rms), current (rms) and apparent power
  • Ideal for use in single phase applications such as domestic fuse boards
  • Energy Manager software also allows use in pseudo-three phase mode (where phase 2 and 3 voltage and power factor are assumed to be similar to phase 1, which is a reasonable assumption in most cases)
  • Encrypted communications for secure operation
  • Mesh networking
  • Unique serial number embedded in each product for easy identification on network

Specification

Licensing and subscription costs
  • This product has 16 channels of measurement which can be individually switched on and off and will require up to 16 subscription licenses if you wish to use it with the Energy Manager system.
  • If a channel is switched off for an entire calendar month, you will not be charged for using it.
  • This product needs no software licenses when used with the desktop version of Energy Manager software.
Switching & Electrical
  • Selection of Current Sensors available: BBSP-CT30B or BBSP-CT30C to read between 1-> 25A per channel
  • BBSP-CT100 to read between 1->100A per channel
  • Current sensors have clamp-around fitting - no wires need to be cut or disconnected
  • Suitable for clamping around cables of up to 12mm (30A) or 19mm (100A) diameter
  • Requires mains power to power supply (supplied)
Power measurement
  • Reporting interval: 10 seconds (min) per channel to 24 hour reporting. (N.B. Channel 1 reports power, 10 seconds later Channel 2 reports power, 10 seconds later Channel 3 reports power, etc)
  • Measurement method: true power integration for active power channel, rms voltage and rms current
  • Accuracy: +- 2% except in extreme cases (power factor > 45 degrees)
  • NB this meter does not report negative power use. If you wish to use this meter on a microgeneration project, please configure the unit to read a power consumption (as per normal) and then switch the power consumption into a power generation (ie reverse the sign) in the Energy Manager Online
Power supply
  • 75 - 230V, AC
